CARE & INSTRUCTIONS – CAUTIONS

Remember Flax is a Product of Nature. Everything natural will decay or will be eaten by something. Therefore our Care Instructions for the pillows are tantamount either by using them often or storing them properly to protected from insects or rodents (ants don’t like flax).

Here are approximate heating instructions, depending on the size and strength of your microwave. Chilling instructions and storage tips follow, and read the cautions carefully.

(When flax seed gets wet, it swells and releases a gel like moist. When it dries it becomes a hard stiff ball)

CAUTIONS:  Microwaves have different strengths in heating. You need to find out how long exactly your oven or microwave takes and start by using ½ min. less time than suggested. Feel the pillow for a few seconds. Because microwaves heat from the inside out the heat takes time to penetrate through the cover. Also remember flax seeds are a food product and can burn. are retaining the heat very well and feel hotter after a short while.

(It’s easy to push the buttons too many times on the microwave. So stay close by while heating.)

REHEATING (when it is still slightly warm) takes only 1-1½ min. for 1 to 2 pillows. For example: you enjoy reading with your Neck Embracer. You want to take it with you back to bed – and it would be nice to warm it a little more again. Instead of the initial 3 min use only half the time you used initially. Remember it as the same procedure as reheating food.
