(When flax seed gets wet, it swells and releases a gel like moist and forms a ball drying)
Remember Flax is a Product of Nature. Everything natural will decay or will be eaten by something. Therefore take care of the pillows either by using them often or storing them properly protected from insects or rodents (ants don’t like flax).
CAUTIONS: Microwaves have different strengths in heating. To find out how long exactly your oven takes, start out using ½ min. less time as suggested. Feel the pillow for about 10 seconds to let the heat penetrate through the cover. Remember that the seeds are retaining the heat very well and feel hotter after a short while.
Too much heat will burn the seeds and the fabric and can cause a fire. Stay close by while heating.
REHEATING (when it is still slightly warm) takes only 1-1½ min. for 1 to 2 pillows. For example: you enjoy reading with your Neck Embracer. You want to take it with you to bed – yet you’d like to have it nice and warm again. Instead of the initial 3 min use only half the time you used initially.
